11 April 2010 at the Ritz-Carlton Dearborn instead of the brain injury Association of Michigan its 12th annual spring tribute legacy society dinner, people to support, the brain have suffered injuries. The brain injury Association of Michigan's mission is to improve the lives of the affected brain injury through education, advocacy, research and local support groups and to reduce the incidence of brain injury through prevention.

Tickets for the event had to be purchased and all procured funds many programs to assist individuals with brain injury and their families went in the direction of the Association. The dinner was an award-winning journalist who has anchored the news in Michigan, Maryland and Massachusetts Lila Lazarus, and the night ended extremely with the very famous best-selling author Mitch Albom as a guest speaker.
