Multi Vehicle 91 Freeway Crash Injures Two

September 28, 2011 - According to reports a multi vehicle crash on the 91 Freeway cause two people to be injured. According to the California Highway Patrol the multi-vehicle accident that caused two people to be injured occurred at approximately 10:14 a.m. on the 91 Freeway in the vicinity east of North Imperial Highway.
California Highway Patrol Officer Jennifer Hink said the crash involved a Mazda 3 that was traveling at a high rate of speed, while attempting to pass a big rig. The driver of the Mazda identified as a woman hit the big rig and then swerved into the Fastrak lanes where the Mazda struck a Ford Mustang.
Officer Hink said a fourth vehicle was also involved in the multi-vehicle crash that resulted in the driver of the Mustang and the driver of the Mazda to suffer injuries. Both were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
