Cheerleader Bank holiday weekend in crash declared dead

May 31, 2011 - a 14-year-old Northwood was declared reportedly dead today high school cheerleader after severe brain damage in a weekend.

The teen as Ashton sweet identified vehicle with four other teens Sunday was in the late model 1:15 pm, when it was involved in a collision. According to the Irvine Police Department the crash occurred on the Culver drive and Irvine Boulevard.

The young people were in a late model Mercedes-Benz, when it was involved in a collision with a pickup Toyota. The young people were home driven by the driver Mike Ghaemi, age 48 to celebrate birthday, in the of the crash.

Two other girls in the age of the vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment and released 14 and 15. The hospital was the fourth teen as Krista Merassa and transported remains in critical condition. According to Irvine Police Lt. Henry Boggs the teenager condition has improved and is not considered life-threatening.

Ashton sweet was brain dead explains, but kept alive was, until her family arranged her organs donations. The driver of the Toyota pickup was identified as Austin Jeffrey Farley age 26 years of Irvine. Farley was arrested shortly after the crash and booked on suspicion of felony drunk driving in the Orange County prison.
