LexisNexis fair credit reporting case class action mayhem
An article in Virginia was lawyers of weekly reports what settlement happened means in a case that settled in June 2008. Apparently agreed LexisNexis management about pay 20 million dollars to a class of people "under the fair credit reporting Act had suffered".
Apparently more than $4 million worth of funds could be not paid because the 'injured' either is not refused, their $25 checks cash.
Here is what is me. Was the $4 million return of the "victims", Lexis/Nexis denied?
Nope.... it was distributed to consumers, legal or political groups. These groups (such as public justice, the Resource Center and Somaly Mam Foundation identify theft, among other things) had nothing to do with the lawsuit. You are only groups. Even more entitled to free money from Lexis/Nexis as the next group.
Hey, his "good thing" these "good groups" have free money. Or is it? This was a criminal act not. Lexis/Nexis was not "punished by the State". This was a civil suit filed for allegedly "injured people." If she could either not found or have been denied to win "Profits", the money in Lexis/Nexis should back.
