May is national motorcycle awareness month
10 May 2011 - may is national motorcycle awareness month and the California Highway Patrol is use this time to tell the driver that they share the road with two wheeled vehicles.
The California Highway Patrol has issued the 2009 crash numbers motorcycle, which show the injuries and deaths that have occurred during the year in the State of California. This thought motorcycle crashes for 2009 show 396 motorcyclists killed and 11,488 rider injured. The motorcycle-related deaths are lower, as they were when 529 of these deaths is the operator of the bike 553 in 2008, reached.
The California Highway Patrol encourages drivers to use the California motorcyclist safety program, before you begin, to ride or to strengthen skills with the larger price than to ride a way that is offered.
The statistics thought of the National Highway Safety Administration show that motorcycle around 80 percent of lead to injuries or cancels deaths compared to the car at only 20 percent.
