The commercial motor road check 2011 be held vehicle safety Alliance (CMVSA) event in June of this year. This event calls on all States to check trucks on the road. Less than 1% of the truck are checked. With the announcement of inspections of 4 months in advance, causing the CMVSA to create driver and truck companies four months, or if the problems around are just serious enough to stay away from the road for a few days.

Despite the huge advertising of inspections in the trucking industry the 3-day test in the year 2011 found nearly 20% of the inspected vehicles and driver failed a level 1 review. The fact that that lorry drivers on the road in an unsafe operating condition are to know, that this special inspection runs, shows how drivers believe that checked the chances are so rare that, that she will not be caught, or believe that they so badly trained that they think they are safe.

National data show that in 2010, log book injuries (protocols are designed to keep tired drivers from the road) the most common reasons for drivers, the out-of-service at 29.5 percent of the drivers of out-of-service violations have been brought. The most common out-of-service element for trucks was uncertain brakes with 25.5% of all Fahrzeug-Out-of-service violations.

Thus the actual risk: tired truck driver driving trucks with bad brakes that do not recognize they fall asleep until it is too late and who can stop when they realize what's going on.
