Motorcycle Crash Closes Westbound Lanes of Scripps Poway Parkway

September 16, 2011 - According to reports a motorcycle crash closed the westbound lanes of Scripps Poway Parkway Friday.
According to the San Diego Police Department, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a sedan that was reported at approximately 6:49 a.m. The collision occurred on the parkway, at the ramp to the north I-15 Freeway.
The motorcyclist suffered a severely injured leg and was transported from the scene of the crash to a local hospital. San Diego police diverted traffic in the westbound lanes at Scripps Highland Drive and the eastbound traffic lanes, along with Mercy Road, were detoured to south I-15.
