I can not help but feel that we have taken two steps forward and three steps back after reading two very different stories about bike accidents here in California. First of all, 55-year-old Harold Brown finally hit and run motorcycle accident, guilty yesterday for a 2008 that killed 49-year-old mark Pendleton in Martinez, California. The guilty plea closes the book on a chapter, which underlined the dangerous position for cyclists throughout the State. In the meantime, crashed today in Los Angeles, 11 in the hospital leaving morning a suspected drunk driver in a set of 100 cyclists and one in critical condition.

But let's start with the hit and run. The plea follows more than two years of legal battles, in which Brown consistently trying evade responsibility for the motorcycle accident. Investigators could find Brown from after his aborted call to the California Highway Patrol immediately after the accident. Later, she found the SUV from the accident in the garage of Brown's relatives of. Brown has decided, a year in prison to serve but his lawyer says he wouldn't blame, if he had fled the scene, not. "He guilty, what he did." If he didn't leave, it would be "said he." not a crime here, "The victim was in dark clothing, goes down like a ball a Bill." "It was mistake not at all my customers."

This is absolutely not the cause of the driver in this morning in the Los Angeles motorcycle accident, the almost a dozen cyclists in the hospital was hospitalized. The "Midnight Ridazz" bicycle group meets regularly at midnight in Los Angeles' Korea, move through the night. But at 2:00 A.m. this morning, hit the Group of about 100 cyclists go the suspected drunk driver an estimated 60 miles per hour. "I saw all fly towards me." Luckily I didn't get Hit…one of the guys with the car, has drawn ", said a driver." The 27-year-old driver was arrested, but her name not been released.

Both accidents emphasize the need for a stronger laws to protect of the cyclist. And wear clothes and a helmet while driving at night to use extra precautions, in a group, remain and warning for potentially dangerous driver. In this way, we will all bike accidents and avoid the actions, the consequences.
