Road check are the United States a false sense of security. Every year road check is announced months before the actual review of the commercial vehicle safety Alliance. This year road check are 7-9 June. It's bad enough that the truck industry knows, when road check is months in advance, now, depending on the transport issues (30 May 2011 p27), they also announce the key areas, the inspectors will examine. This year there "is a particular attention to investigating, truckers log books"

Can the industry no easier the test? If you know that you are an illegal driver, take a holiday during the 3 days of road check. If you have a bad trained drivers who thinks are within the law, drive you.
