California increases DUI patrols on the fourth weekend in July

It is finally 4th weekend in July, which means a chance to relax outside with BBQ and friends and the annual celebration of the independence of the country (much deserved) off for most of us, on the day. Unfortunately, this also means that many California drivers will abuse their freedom by choosing to drive drunk. But since 4 July weekend of drunk drivers has an increase and car accidents accompanied in recent years, the California Highway Patrol has said that it will increase this weekend DUI patrols. So, in order to protect yourself and avoid while under the influence of alcohol a ticket, never get behind the wheel.


In 2009, drunk drivers were killed in car accidents during 4th of July weekend and 40 percent which involved these accidents 410 people. California alone mourned 7 DUI deaths the weekend with an additional 352 accidents at least partially drunk drivers administration injured according to the national highway traffic safety.
