Closing gap VA House Bill HB-93 goals insurance

12:39 Publicado por Mario Galarza

The Virginia House courts of Justice Committee yesterday unanimously passed HB-93, a bill aimed at closing a policy loophole of Virginia underinsured to be abused motorist (UIM) air carriers for purposes.

In Virginia, UIM vehicle has no obligation to pay, until the underinsured has entered a judgment against them motorists on a claim. There is therefore no incentive for United Internet carriers, rules, even if the liability insurer has done. As it stands now, even if a civil liability insurer has paid its full coverage, it is still responsible for the cost and the UIM carrier chooses not to pay expenses of further litigation and trial. UIM-carrier keeps up their money for a long period of time and money to the Court of Justice and tax-payers.

The Bill proposes to shift the cost burden on more litigation, after a civil liability insurer has paid its maximum height of the civil liability insurer to the carrier for UIM. This means that United Airlines either to pay or the cost still the case after the liability insurer has placed.

The benefits for this loophole closed are numerous, a timely payment on the policies that have given it saves time and money for the State for creating health insurance companies.

Here are some additional arguments for VA House Bill HB-93 and driver underinsured insurance law changes at Virginia.

HB 93 could be heard early as this week by the full House of delegates.
