October 6, 2011 - According to reports four people were injured in a two car collision in Huntington Beach. According to authorities the accident occurred at 8:18 a.m. at Edwards Street and Heil Avenue in Huntington Beach.

According to Huntington Beach Police Sgt. Rob Warden, it is believed that the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup was traveling eastbound on Heil Street and made a left turn at the intersection. This is when it collided with a Chevrolet Suburban that was traveling westbound on Heil Street.

Emergency crews were sent to the scene of the collision, according to MetroNet fire dispatch service. Three people were injured that were traveling in the Chevy Suburban and the driver of the Silverado pickup was injured.

The injured victims were all transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, according to authorities. Their injuries have not been released.
