Bloomberg News recently published an article, medical injury damage, to 18% of hospital patients in n.c., researchers do not find that very little, strengthen the confidence of patients in the healthcare industry.

According to a study of U.S. hospitals of almost every fifth hospital patients was violated by their care.  These figures are despite the measures taken to improve the safety of industry and Government officials over the years.

Medical errors can be fatal.
In 1999, a report by the discovered Institute of medicine, that medical errors about 98,000 deaths and more than a million injured annually conducted.  Thinking on that for a moment.  A simple trip to the hospital could turn deadly, based on these numbers.

What was the new study
The recent study actually consists of six years and includes 2,341 hospital admissions in North Carolina.  This State was chosen for the study because it is believed to be the leader in improving patient safety.  18 Percent of the patients according to at least a safety-related event from researchers but suffered minor injuries to his death.

When you visit the doctor or are admitted to the hospital trust you that you will receive appropriate care.  You trust that the medical provider will take measures to avoid serious errors.  However, this study is unnerving.  It is also regrettable that many of the victims of medical malpractice be restored never a cent for their injuries.
