Distracted driving has a whole new level achieved. A current history shows in Portland, Oregon, that we now to the worry about other people, "read during the journey."

According to the associated press was allegedly a bus driver on video read an e-book, caught while driving.  The video which was shot by one of the passengers with a mobile phone, the bus driver showed how it seemed a Kindle look at or be other similar devices. The driver had the e-reader close to set up the steering wheel and low held view, as he drove the bus.   What is so frightening about this incident that the bus driver along Interstate 5 in Oregon, by everyone in the bus and in the vehicles around him in danger was on the road.

Not surprisingly, fired transit was the driver, 40-year-old Lahcen Qouchbane, violation of the Portland-area agency policy.  While the policy probably specifically not explain, "not your Kindle and drive, read" has made it fall under the category of "pose a direct threat to public safety," which is what Mr Qouchbane was accused of.

Mr Qouchbane lawyer, Jonah Paisner, reporters was not messages that read his client.  However, the video tells a different story.

Before this incident had occurred, the transit agency already received complaints about Mr. Qouchbane.  The Oregonian reported that he has finished in the year 2006 for printing the passenger, but was later reinstated.

What can we learn from this incident? Besides the fact that should never read and must drive you watch other drivers on the road. Does anyone know? The driver next to you a really great novel could in the Middle while behind the wheel.
