5 August 2011 - reportedly a child and a store parking lot of a truck, while riding a bicycle killed at. According to authorities a 8-year-old young while riding a bike and killed at a Redondo Beach Shop-parking riding the bicycle.

Police said that the incident occurred about 10:20 am on the Albertsons 2115 Artesia Boulevard and Rindge lane. According to Redondo Beach police Sgt. Shawn Freeman of the 8-year-old young suffered head trauma and was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The police treated the incident as an accident and told the young was his mother to visit, which had begun to work in the store. The young was captured dock grocery store by a truck in the vicinity of loading area.
