Driver arrested for DUI in Costa Mesa crash that critically injured a pedestrian
7 August 2011 - a driver in a Costa was arrested reportedly Mesa crash after critically injured a pedestrian. According to the Costa Mesa police, a pedestrian critically injured in the accident occurred at 1:45 am Sunday morning and happened at the intersection of Randolph Avenue and Bristol Street.
Costa Mesa police officers say Bonnie Yee driver drove a Mercedes-Benz, junction travelling north, when she was 21-year-old Katushka Fischmann Santa Anna.
Costa Mesa police traffic investigator Rick Cummings continues the investigation into the crash and ask all witnesses to submit.
The 21-year old Santa Ana woman sustained major head trauma when she was hit by the Mercedes-Benz driven by Yee. Fischmann was close to the northern junction with a friend at the time of the crash. Fischmann was transported to the Western medical center in Santa Ana, and be in a critical condition.
According to Anaheim, Yee arrested under the suspicion of driving under crime was official. Officials said Anaheim, was it released from police custody after posting bail.
