October 19, 2011 - According to reports a big rig crash on the 101 Highway in San Francisco injured two people, closing lanes of the highway.

According to the California Highway Patrol the collision occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. in the two southbound lanes of the 101 Highway in a vicinity near Highway 80.

The California Highway Patrol stated that the crash involved the big rig and two other vehicles, causing the big rig to rollover and burst into flames.

Authorities are unclear what lead to the motor vehicle collision and it remains under investigation. The driver of the big rig and the driver of another vehicle involved were injured in the crash. The extent of their injuries are unknown, by the California Highway Patrol.

The collision caused the southbound lanes of the 101 Highway to be closed, as well as several on-ramps to the highway, until approximately 11:30 a.m.

September 18, 2011 - According to reports a Ferrari crash on Pacific Coast Highway caused one death and closed the highway for hours.

According to police the accident was reported at approximately 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning in the vicinity north of Sunset Boulevard.

Police are unsure what caused the accident, causing the Ferrari crash into a power pole ejecting two men from the vehicle and falling a cliff approximately 30 feet to a beach area below, cutting the car in two.

According to the Los Angeles Fired Department, a passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities and paramedics transported another passenger to UCLA Medical Center. The person taken to the hospital has been listed in critical condition.
Part of the Pacific Coast Highway was closed for several hours in both directions, after the crash brought down power lines.
The fatal Ferrari crash remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Division. The names of the occupants in the vehicle have not been released and the cause of the accident has not been determined, by authorities.

August 8, 2011-according to reports was a person on the highway are injured by a third car between two stopped cars.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident, an individual injured between two vehicles at approximately 25, in the North, narrow streets of the 57 freeway in Fullerton State.
