Boat drops of Mexico - six tourists missing
July 4, 2011-loud reports decreased, which remain a boat ride off the Mexican Coast, with six people who went missing. It was found that many of the passengers on the ship were American tour.
The tourist ship accident occurred about 87 km north of the city of San Felipe, on the peninsula of Baja California peninsula of Punta both in the vicinity of Puertecitos.
According to U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Pamela Bochland sank carrying tourist boat, the more than 40 passengers off the Mexican Coast. US authorities were sending a helicopter to support the Mexican rescue teams. Bochland explained it was allegedly a dead, which was not confirmed this boating accident case.
Several news outlets, the vessel had left tourist port of San Felipe. It is believed that the ship in the sea of Cortez, who left on Saturday, was in trouble on Sunday, and when a storm capsized.
According to the El Mexicano newspaper explained, the Mexican Navy most of the 42 passengers, with nine rescued, were missing.
NAFTA AGREEMENT WITH MEXICO UNFAIR US TRUCK COMPANY
Another problem with Mexican trucks, in the United States is the disadvantage that it is on us truck company. Currently, the methodology of the CSA2010 security rating process compares fleets with a similar number of inspections to each other. So in the United States all truck undergo testing and assessing the safety is determined all LORRIES.
The Government has not stated how to use the CSA 2010 methodology with Mexican trucks. Only the truck in the United States sent it? Or it will also add the truck in Mexico, to get a true picture of the Mexican truck company crash test? It contains the Mexican violations someone will believe really, a database in Spanish, Mexican company or driver violations, successfully to a British database of us injuries merged to? The language barrier alone, without always in records, corruption and other obstacles, would this a bad idea.
Lets be clear now. Nothing currently holds a Mexican shipping company of have a U.S. subsidiary, are subject to all of our safety rules and regulations. Nothing prevents a driver with the appropriate documentation from the drive trucks in the United States by Mexico, licensed. TRUCK deal with Mexico
A deal was with Mexico, so reported to Mexican trucks, drive in the United States announced. The new deal has proposed some stricter requirements for it as originally under NAFTA. I've posted previously here, here and here among others companies on security issues with Mexican Trucking.
