October 18, 2011 - According to reports two schools were canceled today after two trains collided. According to fire officials two trains collided at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Tuesday in the vicinity of Valley Boulevard and La Cadena Drive, in Colton.

Fire official spokesman Tom Debellis, the trains involved were a Burlington Northern Santa Fe that was traveling north-south and a Union Pacific train that was traveling east-west.

The collision caused 6 rail cars to leave the tracks and three were tankers carrying ferric or ferric chloride and hot tar. The collision caused the Colton Unified School District and the Woodrow Wilson Elementary Schools to be closed for the day.

During the collision one of the train cars struck a freeway bridge abutment, causing the 10 Freeway to be closed in both directions, from Pepper Avenue to the 215 Freeway, until the possible structural damage could be inspected.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the 10 Freeway was reopened after 6:30 a.m. when the inspection found that the bridge was safe for traffic to travel on.

According to hazardous material investigators the train cars were inspected and no leaks were detected. Officials stated that San Bernardino Metrolink commuter train service was stopped at Valley Boulevard at 9th Street, the vicinity of the train collision.

Our Michigan personal injury lawyers filed a lawsuit several counts civil in Oakland County District Court for a female high school student, employed by the husband of Oxford community schools teachers was sexually abused.  The suit names of Oxford community schools, the teacher and the teacher late husband as defendant in the case.

The lawsuit alleges that the teacher of our customers was a friend, when she was a freshman at the high school at Oxford. After establishing a relationship with the student, the teacher brought her home and she made to her husband. The couple was "then" our customers perform various odd jobs at their home University after school and on weekends.  At the time of the teacher befriend our customers and brought her to her husband, who teachers knew that her husband previously had been sentenced to have raped the couples teenage foster child in her home.

After developing a friendship with the client, the husband invited students over their home, to see a movie, where he sexually abused them. The student reported the incident to the Oakland County Sheriff's Department the next day. In the months leading up to the attack, was the husband of pornographic material the student and requires that they test sex toys.

The man was accused of criminal sexual assaults and had his criminal case in Oakland County Circuit Court.  He committed suicide in prison, as he expected his trial in this matter.  After his death, his wife was the personal representative of his executor.  The complaint was filed against both teachers individually and the property.  The suit seeks damages for the physical and psychological injuries of students by these events.  No trial date has been set.
