September 22, 2011 - According to reports one person was injured in a two vehicle collision on the I-5 Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol a vehicle collision on the I-5 Freeway was reported at approximately 8:18 a.m. in the vicinity of Culver Drive in Irvine.

The California Highway Patrol officers at the scene of the collision stated a driver of a Honda Accord slowed down in the No. 1 lane, when the driver of a Honda Fit was not able to stop in time. The California Highway Patrol stated the driver of the Honda Fit was transported to Kaiser Hospital in Irvine with minor injuries after her mother arrived at the scene of the crash.
