AppId is over the quota
The Supreme Court of Virginia has ruled that a mother who hosted a teen age girl for a sleepover, and who made a promise to the parents that "I won't let you daughter be driven by a boy" may be sued when the young girl died in an accident later that night when being driven by a teen age male driver.
This case should send a strong warning to parents that they have an obligation to keep their promises.

Drive Safely Work Week is an Initiative All Employers Should Adopt
AppId is over the quota
Posted by: Briskman Briskman & Greenberg
October 3rd through the 7th is Drive Safely Work Week “Focus 360°: Getting There Safely Is Everyone’s Business.” No matter if you drive or carpool to work, or even walk or bicycle, there are important steps that individuals can take to lessen accidents. Chicago and Illinois employers have responsibilities too, and they should do everything possible to encourage best safety practices, particularly measures that limit distracted driving. The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) set up this safety week to remind individuals that it is more important to get to work safely than to check email, text, or finish getting ready on the way to work.
Companies should adopt a mobile device policy. NETS says that employers should educate their workers to not use “any electronic device in any gear other than park.” Job expectations and productivity can still be met and employee safety is upheld when a company adopts this personal safety mindset.
Employees on their way to work should be focused on safely arriving to their destination, not texting, reading, or chatting on the phone. The same goes for people who walk or bike to their work. Using smartphones and iPods cause distractions as well. Distracted driving can ultimately cause serious injuries and deaths and is the number one cause of car and other motor vehicle accidents.
As Chicago personal injury lawyers, we see the aftermath of distracted driving. Briskman Briskman & Greenberg encourages area businesses and their senior management to implement the Drive Safely Work Week. NETS has workplace posters, daily activities, and contests to incorporate safe ways to get to work. The materials support safe practices for workers and their families to use, no matter how they get to work.
Briskman Briskman & Greenberg is a premier Chicago law firm that helps individuals and their loved ones take legal action to recover from serious injuries and wrongful deaths. Bridge in New York City destroyed truck, like them, the drive under tries
Too big for their bridges are truck in New York? It seems the case in a city, especially where large truck not simply release can disable. Hit a railway bridge in the city of Binghamton on Tuesday, a tractor trailer and including jammed has as the truck was simply too large to pass under. It is the third truck accident in two months on the same bridge.
In the video, shot by broadcaster WBNG, you can see how crushed all cars of the tractor was the bridge. Drivers are warned low clearance bridges, but they are either not attention or not only find, get another way, where they go.
This has me worth, and the rest of the DFW wonder about the bridges in Fort. We have bridges, the truck like this in our area, to eat? As a personal injury lawyer in Fort Worth, makes me question the structural integrity of bridges. It has taken so many times; It can support the train, which of them drives? Clearly need more attention to low bridges as the truck driver in Binghamton and the city needs to ensure all motorists, the bridge under can ride.
New hands app to drive end distracted
Over the years, I have every pretext of distracted drivers crashed have heard in my injury clients. It is usually "I had an important job e-Mail" something along the lines of or "I want my friend not to think that I was rude not picking up." (Meine_Antwort_auf_diese_Klagegruende_ist,_dass_ein) no e-Mail is more important that the safety of you, your passengers and other road users, and (b)) I'm sure if your friend again later called you and said that she had been driving, there would be no problem.
Fort Worth personal injury attorney, I firmly believe, that it never an excuse to use your mobile phone while driving: not on text, not to anyone, not to e-Mail. Fortunately, the dangers of distracted driving are more fertile, other cities (such as Arlington) drivers are cracking down, using their phone while behind the wheel.
At the same time the new technology will help the distracted driving epidemic, as well as an end set. A new app that really people could help who do not want to miss a thing is text 'n drive was even on CNN. There is an app voice-operated, what, that means to be able to use hands free, and it will be your email and your text messages read, while you are traveling. Even better is that he sends to an e-Mail or SMS to your contact they let know that you are, however, that you respond your message as soon as you have reached your destination! How good is that? Not only it keeps that from rude, but reminded it others, with a cell phone while driving is dangerous. Fantastic!
Rules drive proposed national teen shown to save lives and money
Chicago, ill.-, that the 16-year-olds to get six times more likely, in an auto accident than drivers over 30 years old are. The safe teen and novice driver uniform protection Act (STANDUP) is planning, reduce deaths and injuries, by law for all new teen driving national teen driver. You say the STANDUP sponsors many States already have some form of graduated driver licensing laws and standardization across the country will be shown to save lives and money.
"In the last five years alone, over 40,000 young people died in motor vehicle crashes and hundreds of thousands have suffered more debilitating injuries," said Jackie Gillan, Vice President of the advocates for Highway and auto safety. "The economic and emotional costs for parents, family and friends are unacceptable and unnecessary." Studies show that the annual cost of teen crashes more than $30 billion. We could use the money that by four years tuition fees of more than one million pay young people in a four-year University. That is equal to the entire teen population in the State of Illinois. We can make so many young Jews no longer the cost or the terrible loss. "It is time to act."
Requires STANDUP all States if signed into law, to comply with in order to receive federal highway construction program funding and grants. Non-compliant government money would be in States that comply with the law. US Congressman Randy Hultgren (R - IL) is one of the sponsors of the law and even if many of the proposed amendments meet Illinois, Hultgren white first-hand the importance of the safe teen driving, with 17-year-old in the household. The biggest change for Illinois teen drivers are age for a learner permit until increase 15 years age of 16.
"Young people are many distractions in the drive," said Chicago car accident lawyer and SuperLawyer Paul A. Greenberg, Esq.. "Go a long way to protect are these differentiated rules teen drivers and those around them."
STANDUP rules would limit, night drive, ban cell phone use, unless, of course, emergency happens, and restrict the number of teen passengers in a vehicle. Teenage drivers would not for a full license until it to reach age of 18. "Teen driving crashes are the leading cause of death for young adults and public health represent a crisis", said Dr. Kyran Quinlan, Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on injury, violence and poison prevention. "But we already have a proven treatment for this disease, the thousands dead and injured every year would prevent: STAND UP Act passed." This law will ensure that every new driver, no matter where he or she lives, the same training, the same laws and the same protection will have. "This Bill will save lives."

Confusing distracted evidence drive report blurs security

Distracted wondering how to reduce the risk of a Virginia drive accident?
Families in Virginia and across the nation are packaging and hits the streets on their way to holiday destinations. While mobile phones are suitable for emergency situations and one of useful applications and tools set, drivers should think twice, before you use these devices.
According to the official US Government website for the propulsion of distracted Distraction.gov, reduces drive while brain activity with driving using a mobile phone is 37 percent. When this statistic is frightening enough, that you stored your mobile phone if you behind the wheel are not, here is a more alarming fact riders, the hand-held to use mobile phones are four times as likely to get in collisions, causing the injuries.
It has great concern among security experts about the dangers of mobile phones and crashes cause. In Virginia texting and driving is not allowed, but unfortunately drivers still do it. However, texting and driving is not the only problem. Use driver's reactions to the same level a cell phone while driving, no matter if it is a hand-held or free device delayed hands such as with a blood alcohol concentration of permitted 08 percent, according to the University of Utah.
To reduce the risk of a Virginia distracted driving accident this summer put the cell phone while driving. In addition, you will be looking for other drivers, which can pay not on the road.

Coronado DUI accident sparks San Diego woman arrested for murder suspects: how laws drive California can affect.
A San Diego woman was under the charge of murder in connection with a suspected DUI accident, which occurred earlier in this year in April in Coronado arrested according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Melanie Rebecca Flores, 47, was at the Colinas Las to prison Tuesday, December 14 on accusations of drunkenness booked. The accident killed Coronado resident Stevens Benjamin Freidman, 95, and two others were injured in the accident.
Flores is suspected, drive, whereas on 21 April, intoxicated when she collided with two vehicles on the silver strand in Coronado. The fatal car accident claims the life of an elderly man and two San Diego other woman hurt, but not arrested, until recently.
LEA Corbin, a Coronado police spokeswoman said that was the delay in the arrest for serious personal injury, the Flores maintained.
Flores blood-alcohol limit at the time the car was legal on 08 above California and it is now charged with murder. Flores is is with 2 counts of 23153 (A), CVC DUI causing injury and CVC DUI over. 08 causes 2 counts of 23153 (B) violations charged.
What exactly are these laws?
Did themselves in two California DUI driving laws which concern you know, can? The first offense, California vehicle code 23152 (a), is a law that was defined, whether the driver "the automobile with the same caution characteristic a sober person of ordinary prudence, under the same or similar circumstances drive not."
The other part of the California law, California vehicle code 23152 (b), is focused on the charge "per se", the "was the driver blood-alcohol level 08 or later." In Flores case reports Coronado Police Department, that she actually 08 percent larger drove to a blood alcohol level.
Since a funeral caused the accident, it seems that Flores automobile with the same caution as sober could drive an individual. You the murder was arrested on charges a result.
Each State has nuances in their laws DUI drive, but in California, driving with a blood alcohol concentration 08 percent or is higher than driving under influence of alcohol. In Flores case they will be both charges above and must they their license also exposed, as she drove on a BAC level than. 08%.
Do you know that California will not go law under easy. When you create a deadly traffic accident while driving under the influence, you can be booked for special charges in the amount of murder, such as Flores case, and later, you may face charges of wrongful death.
Go DUI is a serious, life-threatening crime. Take all necessary measures, to stay on the right side of the law and the right will do to society. Do not drink and drive, period.

Drunk father has 13-year-old son drive him home
Seattle car accident lawyer in a law firm in Tacoma personal injury work have I was always an advocate of stronger DUI laws and a point say people who out to drink always make sure that they go home a designated drive. Car accidents drunken drivers are generally catastrophic and cause lead all too often for wrongful death of innocent victims; but these accidents are also 100% avoidable.
I am generally disgusted by ear in a car accident caused by a drunk driver, but one arrest made tops Sunday definitely the cake. A 40-year old man was out drinking and had his 13-year-old son with him. When it was time for the two home go, that the father decided that he also intoxicated drive and so instead of a call to a friend or a taxi he was throwing the keys to his 13-year-old son and he behind the wheel to get. Reckless driving is one thing, but let you take your child home because you are too drunk is incredibly dangerous. Washington State patrol car over drawn, because the young drove erratically and repeated pounding on the brakes. As soon as the police officer saw that the young drunken father home drove the officer immediately arrested the father, and took the child into custody. The father instead of the reckless endangerment appeared later in the evening to his mother charges, but the young, he is not charged with anything.
This father's life is in danger, selfish set his son by him trying to drive him home. I can not believe that he would even car, his 13-year-old son him home go to questions. The worst part about this situation is that the father even with a DUI can be charged, because he technically drive was not not; so, he goes to a lighter sentence as he get really deserved way with much. I say it again; If you have to drink from, make sure that you have a sober ride home.

Texans can drive not only in the rain.
Yesterday one was unusually cold and rainy day here in DFW. About the only thing, the streets were worse than the weather! It took a while to work to come in my personal injury law firm in Fort worth just because of the all delays from car accidents.
According to police in Tarrant County, hundreds of recovery system reported yesterday. Monday's Fort Worth had reported 166 car accidents police from midnight until 3: 30 pm accidents in it were heavy in Arlington 32 were called and 25 minor fender Benders reported.
Unfortunately, not all of the accidents were minor yesterday and Sunday. One person killed and five people were seriously injured, when a Dodge truck carrying nine passengers standing water and control I spun 30 and Rosedale Street in Fort Worth.
The 17-year-old driver has accused of homicide intoxication were.
Car accidents are avoidable in the rain, if you only arrangements to meet. In this accident, the accident could have been avoided probably if it not drunk driver behind the wheel! Nine people in a pickup truck seems also like too many to me. They were all wear seat belts? Alternatively, they injuries could have prevented.
No one likes to the rain drive and it is true; Rain will cause that some car accidents. But if drivers in Dallas and Fort Worth to the basic rules of driving would return only (not speed up, defensive driving, put the cell phone) I think could definitely reduce the number of accidents on rainy days.
If you should in a car accident because someone's negligence would be on a rainy day, you my accident and injury law firm a call at 817-294-1900. Just because rainy was not means, that you beat a claim against the other driver for that you can use not. Set your free consultation today.
