FMCSA CAVES CHANGES AGAIN IN INDUSTRY - DISCLAIMER ON SMS DATA

The trucking industry has used again get to weaken the Obama management how the SMS data for public review. The current warning never went through the approval process and the industry brought an action to change the warning. The FMCSA would have removed the warning all together adopt the industry language. The FMCSA took the industry language.

Currently appear poor air carrier on an alert status (FMCSA already the color of red in changed with the introduction of CSA 2010 Bernstein at the request of the industry). FMCSA reaches settlement agreement in National Association of small trucking companies litigation security accountability compliance program

Washington, DC: The U.S. Department of transportation of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) today announced that it released a settlement agreement with three truck associations, the legal information on the website of FMCSA motor carrier enforcement program, compliance security accountability (CSA) has reached.

"CSA is a safety-critical program that helps to reduce commercial motor vehicle-related crashes and save lives," FMCSA said administrator Anne S. Ferro. "We solved problems of petitioners without adverse effect on the CSA program and its security benefits by this settlement agreement."

(NASTC), to speed up the Alliance of North America (TEANA) and the air & expedited motor carrier Association (AEMCA) filed lawsuit on 29 November 2010 to FMCSA of the CSA program.
