Lets face it, there are good truck driver (I represent a lot of them if they get hurt through unsafe truck drivers.) and then there are people who should drive a tractor trailer, much less a tricycle not. The second category of the truck driver threatened my family and my friends along the way. So what do?

Well, if you are a truck company Manager is the first thing, that you do rent safe drivers. (The second thing you can do a reasonable education but can save that for another day.) In 2008, there were 4.9 million commercial drivers. Despite the large number of drivers of truck companies have almost 100% turnover of drivers a year - and a driver shortage is expected by the industry. This means that a truck company has each driver in your fleet replace every year. Some companies simply rent from the bottom of the barrel as drivers get harder to find.

The FMCSA agrees that safe driver hire is extremely important in the prevention of wrecks. It has therefore set up a pre-employment screening program (PSP) enable to check crash truck company drivers and safety records from BEFORE you rent it. So we consider there are nearly 5 million drivers and 100% turnover, should it right nearly 5 million drivers security checks? False!  Checked only 7.6 the truck driver, or 380,000, were before the last year set out! (Transport topics, 30 May 2011, p4) Check out why, I think the driver not they? Bad driver work cheaper wages down in the industry for good safe professional drivers to keep and put more money into the pockets of the truck companies.

Keep once again move the wheels and the money trumps putting safe drivers behind the wheels and pay them fairly.
